The Heart of the World's Luckiest Fishing Village - The Destin Harbor Boardwalk is Destin's marquis community project that has been 15+ years in the making. The Destin Harbor Boardwalk was completed in the Spring of 2012 and provides public access to over one-half mile of the northern edge of Destin Harbor in Destin, Florida from Harborwalk Village east behind AJ's, Galati Yachts, and Fisherman's Wharf and stopping at the Yacht Club.
Located along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay in Northwest Florida, The Village of Baytowne Wharf features an array of boutiques, eateries, galleries and nightlife -- not to mention a jam-packed schedule of outdoor festivals and special events for the entire family.
Several dining options are within walking distance. The Whale's Tail Beach Bar & Grill, located directly on the beach and newly renovated, has beeDestin landmark for over thirty years. The restaurant opens at 7:00 a.m. and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Dine indoors in climate controlled comfort or enjoy the refreshing ocean breezes on the deck. Cabana Cafe is located behind Majestic Sun in the lobby of the Ariel Dunes condos. Cabana Cafe features casual dining, great food, live entertainment, and a late night bar. After opening in late 2007, Cabana Cafe quickly became a favorite for locals and visitors alike. OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK 11AM TILL 2AM MONDAY TRU SATURDAY AND 9AM TILL 2AM SUNDAY.
The Surf Hut is a brand new, open air restaurant located directly on the Gulf of Mexico and is less than a mile walk from the Majestic Sun. The Surf Hut has a menu that goes far beyond your typical 'beach fare', with a little added surfer flare to a cuisine that includes Seafood, Oysters and St. Louis Style BBQ!
